About Us

grocery stores, convenient stores, fast food resturants, fine dining resturants

1976 - Cash Register Sales of Nashville, Tennessee, opened an office in Bowling Green. During the first few years of operation, we had numerous grocery stores, convenient stores, fast food and fine dining restaurants, liquor stores and retail stores. During this time, we also sold, setup, and shipped registers to all of the Dollar General Stores in the United States.

1995 - Melvin Turner Jr., the general manager, bought the Bowling Green office. Needless to say, Nashville kept Dollar General.

2005 - In December, Roy Baize and Kenneth Smith acquired ownership of Cash Register Sales Company, Inc.

Over the years we have seen the evolution of the cash register from a mechanical machine, to an electronic machine, to today’s point of sales system. We have also seen the same changes for scales and time recorders.

The one thing that has not changed is the need for experienced sales and service. We have always tried to maintain a high knowledge of the businesses that we sell to. We strive to find the best match of the needs of our customers with the capabilities of our system. The system might be a simple cash register or large POS system.

We realize that cash registers are not the only thing that can improve your cash control, efficiency, and security. To achieve these goals we sell time clocks, scanners, scales, and video recorder systems. We also have numerous back room systems that can be used to interface with the cash registers for inventory control and reporting. For credit card processing, we work with Mercury Payment Systems. In addition, if you already have a processing company, we work with Datatran to interface our equipment with your processor.
